I was so Honoured to take a picture with Dr. Larry Swartz at the Arts Conference at Brock University's Hamilton Campus. He has been teaching children and teachers as a classroom teacher, a language arts resource teacher and drama consultant for more than fifteen years. A drama instructor at the Faculty of Education, University of Toronto, and for Young People's Theatre, he also shares his enthusiasm for language, drama and literature as a speaker at conferences throughout the country. Larry is co-author of a major Language Arts reading series as well as Choosing Children's Books, a useful guide to help teachers, librarians, and parents select literature for children of all ages. He's also an instructor in the pre-service program at OISE/UT and is currently the principal of Dramatic Arts AQ courses at OISE/UT. Larry is in much demand as a workshop presenter, speaker and most notably, as author of several resources that are used extensively in Canada, England and Australia.
